🌱 A new vision: from nomad village to worldschooling hub
Jungli launched as a nomad village: a home for remote workers, artists, entrepreneurs, and nature lovers. However as we've grown, the land has been telling us it wants to become something bigger.
Jungli the Nomad Festival showed us that there's an opportunity to create an experiential learning centre. An unconventional classroom, with real people sharing real learnings, not limited to the typical four walls.
Then, our first permanent residents moved in, with a baby! They looked around, heard our vision, and said "this is the best place that we could possibly raise our family"! Two years ago, I did not see that coming!
After a conversation with Goncalo Hall, the world's first and best-known nomad village builder, the vision crystallised into what we're calling Jungli 2.0:

A solid co-working space: Better known as a community hub disguised as a desk. We're building a solid one above Jungli HQ. Perhaps with central dining & cafe for the campus too!

Movement built into the design: When nomads aren't on their screen, they want spaces to exercise. Vishnu is leading the charge to reduce the distance from your desk to your pull-up bar (or better: roman rings).

Making space for worldschooling families & deep learning retreats: We're hearing more young parents who want to come for a month, deeply learn something they care about, and get time back while their kids are cared for and learning too.

In order to bring this vision to life, we need a team that can hit the ground running. Legends that get the vision, have been seeking community, and that have gone from 0 to 100 before.
So we're pumped to announce that from 160+ applications, we've got 5 new legends joining the Jungli team! Meet them below:
- 🚀 Aneesh, Head of Business. A hospitality GM across Canada, back home to build something more wholesome, closer to his own backyard.
- 🎥 Chim, Marketing Manager. A natural content creator out of TVF and Bollywood, and a total ray of sunshine, leading all our storytelling, marketing and growth.
- 🏡 Avi, Head of Hospitality. 22, IIM grad, already ran a hotel in Goa, and moonlights as an Urdu poet. Here to build a home for artists and interesting humans.
- 🛹 Deshik, The Engineer. Never trust an engineer that doesn't skateboard! This Coorgi legend is going to lead the resurrection of 12 tinyhomes, while ensuring Junglis have everything they need to do their best work.
- 🧰 Sanjay, The Mission Impossible Guy. Part theatre practitioner, part furniture fixer, part problem-solver. We didn't have a role for him, we just knew we needed him. Project one: manage Jungli's waste ethically.
